Designing for focus
A few principles that shape every screen in fongflow — and why less really is more.
Every feature in fongflow has to earn its place. Here are the principles we come back to when we design.
1. The default view should be quiet
A workspace you open forty times a day shouldn't shout. Muted, warm tones and generous space let the content — your notes and tasks — carry the color.
2. Speed is a feature
Latency is friction, and friction breaks focus. We render optimistically and keep interactions under the threshold where you'd notice a wait.
3. Structure without ceremony
Folders, widgets, and layouts exist to help you organize — never to make you manage the tool instead of the work.
That's the whole idea: get out of your way so you can get into flow. Give it a try.
